October Wrap-Up

Wrap-Ups (2).png

I got to go see Teagan this month! Actually, October was an insanely busy month with travel, my parents visiting and work picking up. I also had jury duty and doctor appointments to deal with so now I need a vacation. I don’t know how life got so busy, but I went ahead and got a Panda Planner which seems to make things a little easier. At the minimum it is making me do daily gratitude journals and write down the positives.

I’m super excited for November because I will get to spend some down time at home as well as a pre-Thanksgiving family trip to Asheville, NC. Houston doesn’t have much of a fall season so i’m really looking forward to cool weather and maybe I will see some bears!

This was a crazy month. Teagan went back to the Sawtooths, Jess went back to New Mexico and to River City Rockfest. Plus, we both drowned in work. Thank goodness for books and the amazing ones we read this month.  Also, everyone should be embarrassing and wish Jess a belated happy birthday!

August Wrap-Up & September TBR

August is over which means it’s *almost* Fall, AKA the best time of the year! August was a great reading month for us – we especially loved City of Brass, Mirage and Dance of Thieves! Plus, we delved into Raven Boys and gave the Lunar Chronicles another chance. We finally gave up on Queens of Innis Lear and are happier for it. Outside our book lives, Jess camped on the beach and Teagan in Nevada and we both spent wayyyyy too much money on books.
