I successfully only purchased 2 books this month! Both were pre-orders, so I will add them to the August Haul. After my book outlet haul last month and making a spreadsheet of how much I have actually spent on books this year… I am taking a mini break on purchases. I’m only pre-ordering books that have a really fun incentive or that are on an incredible sale.

What I Learned in a Year of Book Blogging

book tag (10).pngSo I know tons of people have done posts like this, but I ALWAYS read them. I think we all have lovely insight and you never know when you will learn something new! These are my lessons learned, but I want to thank all of you for your help. Especially @Kal for templates and answering all of my silly questions, @Dev for helping me to understand that Instagram is actually insane, @Loretta for offering her professional design eye and explaining self-hosted and widgets, and primarily Teagan for still talking books even when the pressure of blogging AND having a life got to be too much.

Why is This on My TBR?

book tag (9).pngDo you ever look through your Goodreads list and wonder “when did I look at this book and what is it?” I feel like I do this all the time, which makes me worry that I blacked out and goodreads binged. Which seems safer than Amazon binging…

So, this is basically like a Down the TBR Rabbit Hole, except I’m trashing ALL of these. Unless someone makes a solid case for them.
