Fall Reading Update

This is going to be me screaming my plans into the void. I apologize in advance. Now, I know that I said i’m not setting reading goals. And i’m not. But, I have plans to participate in so many fun adventures that I just have to share. It’s Latinx Heritage Month, the beginning of Fall, and spooky season is almost here! I would love to hear your opinions if you have read any of the books below!

Latinx Heritage Month – September 15 through October 15

Below are some of the books I want to read for Latinx Heritage month, but If you are really looking for recommendations, please check out these amazing posts by Latinx bloggers Alicia and Naty.

Shadowhunter Sunday – September 2021 through November 2022

Yeah… that’s a really long read-along. But hear me out. It’s one book per month. If you have ever wanted to get into the series, but felt overwhelmed, this is a great option. My good friend ReadbyDev and Jamie’sShelves have laid out the full reading order along with optional reads and extras. Plus there will be Instagram Lives to chat and ask questions!

Check out Dev’s highlight called Shadowhunters Sunday for all the details.

Spooky Season – OCTOBER

This is getting it’s own blog post. But i’m really excited and have seriously considered buying giant black angel wings to dramatically read in front of my windows. Someone talk me out of it please.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I loved Mexican Gothic. I just finished her other book Gods of Jade and Shadow and loved that one too. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to read for spooky season. Also, I will buy black wings and we can sit together and embarrass (or delight) our kiddos.

  2. Oooft, Hurricane Season is… well, it’s a LOT. Make sure you’ve got the brain space for it when the time comes! Looking forward to hearing what you think of it 😉
