Top Ten Tuesday | Books on my Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Well this is going to be a weird and short list. I have decided not to include any of my Smutmas reads since they are mostly novellas and there are a ton. But here is what I’m gearing up to read for winter 2020!

The City of Brass, The Kingdom of Copper and The Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty

I’m so excited and also terrified for this reread and completion of the series.

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

I have gotten a ton of recommendations to read this and I’m finally getting around to it!

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

I got this months ago and I feel guilty every time I see it on the shelf.

A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir

I know I’m not ready for this series to end, but I have to read Reaper if I’m ever going to finish. It’s not like I have been putting it off from fear… Not me. NEVER.

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

This has been on my list for like two years and I know I’m going to love it. I have to.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

It’s just flat out ridiculous that I haven’t read this yet.

Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’ve only read Addie LaRue and absolutely loved it. It was also one of those books I had to force myself to read because I knew if I didn’t, it would be sat on my shelf for years unread.

  2. I have Crawdads on my TBR shelf too, and it’s been there for a shamefully long time. I’ll definitely get to it in 2021… probably… 😅 happy reading!
