Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
For this lovely list, I have decided on books I would like to read again – for the first time. There are plenty of comfort rereads, but I would like to experience these for the first time all over again.
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
What a magical world. I can’t even finish Empire of Gold right now because I need to star this series over and meet Nahri all over again.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
This is my ultimate comfort book. Which is strange because of the ghosts and cruelty, but who doesn’t need that scene again? If you know, you know.
House of Earth & Blood by Sarah J. Maas
LIGHT IT UP. I’m sobbing.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
The freaking Wishbone. That is all.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
What I wouldn’t give to relive that twist.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
This might be the most romantic thing I have ever read. Full stop.
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
The moment the fog clears and Elias realizes. I was hysterical.
The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
What an adorable and heartbreaking romance. I was so happy and laughing and crying with laughter and sadness? So many feels.
The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera
I read this in my early twenties and I just wonder how I would feel about it years later.
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson
Just plain hilarious. This book also helped me to realize that my anxiety is not something I have to live with on my own. It helped me to talk with family and friends about what I was dealing with and I think I process it better now, after doing the work.
Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

OOoh nice ones! I just read House of Earth and Blood in the summer and loved it! It was pretty amazing! And ooh An Ember in the Ashes! I cannot wait for my copy of A Reaper at the Gates. I don’t think I’m ready for this ending!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I have read Furiously Happy twice now and the second time was just as funny as the first. In fact it caused my husband (not a reader) to become curious enough to pick it up and he ended up loving it. Oh man I meant to put Gillian Flynn on my list and completely forgot. There are just too many books I want to reread.

So many books! I’m glad that Furiously Happy was good the second time around. I need to reread her first book as well!

Wuthering Heights is on my re-read list, too! I’m kicking myself that I read it for the first time when I was having a really tough time personally, I feel like I did it – and myself – a disservice, there’s no way I got as much out of it as I could have.
