Sunday Snooze | April 19, 2020

Happy Sunday! It’s a super rainy day here in Houston which is actually kind of nice. We are drinking coffee and holding a baby and actually enjoying our quarantine. Here is what I have been up to this week!

2020 GOALS

My goals haven’t changed except that I got 2 more ARCs piled on the list… oops!

Books I’m Reading

I have been working on one book for two weeks. And I love this book so far, but man, I am reading SLOW.

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard – I have been sleeping on this amazing series. I’m so in love. I would have sprinted through it, but I haven’t had much time for reading these weeks with the baby.

New Books

Oops, I may have downloaded two more ARCs this week. I’m not even sorry because these look AMAZING.

This Week’s Favorite Things

Brad Mondo videos on Youtube – The ability to talk and see my family friends’ faces has been a huge asset during this time. I had my first baby and can’t have any family to help or be here. That is rough, but we are making it through using technology.

Brazillian Body Butter – I had a baby. I have stretch marks. This stuff is supposed to help… we will see. But it smells AMAZING.

Last Week on the Blog

Reviews: You Are Not Alone & Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy

Other: Books to Lift Your Spirits & Which YA Book Should You Read in Quarantine?

  1. I just came across a free book at my local Little Free Library cupboard (When Autumn Leaves by Amy S. Foster), I’m loving its air of magic and the writing’s so good, I read the first 50 pages last night!
    I hope you have a lovely week…
