Books I Can't Wait to Read in 2020

There are so many amazing books coming out this year and I just can’t wait! But also, I am super excited for some rereads and to get through some of my backlisted items. A few of these books I have wanted to read for a while, but for whatever reason, didn’t get to. So here we go with my favs list for 2020!

2020 Releases

Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty – I am so not ready for the emotional roller coaster this is sure to be. But, I just love Nahri so much and I really want redemption for Dara… Pretty sure that isn’t going to happen, but a girl can dream.

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare – New Shadowhunters? I’m in.

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas – I have to. I need a new series from SJM and this one is going to be awesome. I just know it.

Lightbringer by Claire Legrand – My emotions can’t handle it, but honestly, I just need to get this over with so that I can cry and try to pick up the pieces of my heart.

My Backlist

Golden Son by Pierce Brown – I loved Red Rising so much, but I still haven’t gotten to this and I feel like a lazy human. I have it on audiobook even!

A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab – I really paced myself with this series. I think because I will be really sad to say goodbye to Kell and Lilah. I am seriously attached to all of these characters.

The Infernal Devices, Shadowhunter Academy, Bane Chronicles, and Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare – I have to reread these in time for Chain of Gold or I will have NO idea what is going on.

The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh – I was stoked for this book, but I got slumpy and distracted around the time that it came out. So I have postponed it and am now ready, so ready.
