Welcome to the new year everyone. I’m back and I have content headed your way!
Life Update
I took a long break from blogging in December. It wasn’t planned, but honestly, I was so burnt out. I needed some time to regroup, read and get ready for the new year.
This year has a ton of surprises coming for my family, so I’m going to do my best to stay up to date, but there may be a few unexpected breaks.
I’m so ready to knock out my owned TBR this year. I’m on a ban every month until I have read the books scheduled. This way, I get rewarded for reading and also don’t overspend and rack up more books on my owned TBR.
A TBR jar doesn’t really appeal, but I may just let you all choose my next book once or twice each month!
What I’m Reading

A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer. I’m about 45% through and I am not overly impressed. To be fair, I wasn’t in love with the first book, but it was a solid read. This one is shaping up for disappointment, but I think my commentary will be great entertainment.

Normal Gets You Nowhere by Kelly Cutrone. I read Cutrone’s first book years ago and just loved it. Apparently this is not that book. This may be my first DNF of the year.
What I Finished

Woven in Moonlight by Isabel Ibanez. What a gorgeous and exciting read. I absolutely loved this book and it comes out on Tuesday!
New Books
I’m doing a Christmas Book Haul post this week on Tuesday.
This Week’s Favorite Things
I have been cooking up a storm and my new giant saute pan has been a lifesaver! I got it for Christmas and I’m making all the food now.
It’s a little ridiculous, but i’m super into Youtube videos on meal planning and storage. They are stealing all of my reading time and I need to stop, but I can’t!
Last Week on the Blog
Starting off the new year with an few ARC reviews Scavenge the Stars.
I also featured my 2020 Bookish Resolutions and did the End of the Year Book Tag!
I’m sorry you’re not enjoying A heart so fierce! It’s one of my most anticipated reads. I’m glad you loved Woven In moonlight! It’s on my tbr this month.

I love meal prep videos! Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of decluttering videos and they’ve been helping me get my life together, Youtube is fun but also super distracting 😀

Seriously! I need to go on a youtube ban… forget about a book ban. I can’t stop watching videos on people’s favorite products.

Lol, I can completely relate 😀 Whenever I do a social media cleanse, I delete YouTube too because it’s even more distracting than instagram
