The Fall Bucket List | Book Tag

Thanks so much to WonderfilledReads for tagging me in this one. I do love fall, but in Texas I don’t get much of one which is a shame. Check out her page for the adorable graphics that Tiffany made for this post!

Light a Scented Candle

A book that is lighthearted

The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare is a hilarious start to an adorable series. I loved the humor and levity injected into this regency romance.

Drink Pumpkin Spiced Lattes

A book that has a lot of hype

Well I guess I will go with The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black. I think I will leave this one for later and let the hype die down because it’s just a lot in your face right now.

Go Apple Picking

A book that has fun friendships

Yes, I had to go there. Since Call Down the Hawk was recently released, I am going to do an audio re-read of TRC before I dive in!

Wear a Cozy Sweater

A book that warms your heart

I love Laini Taylor and I am dying over my copy of A Night of Cake and Puppets. We finally get Zuzana and Mik’s story! Plus it’s gorgeous with comics and drawings all throughout.

Bake Cinnamon Rolls

A character who’s a talented chef

I just finished A Thousand Fires by Shannon Price and Valerie is an obsessive baker which is perfect for this!

Jump Into a Pile of Leaves

A book that made you jump for joy

Okay, jump for joy may be a bit excessive, but I definitely loved this one. The Bride Test by Helen Hoang beat out it’s prequel The Kiss Quotient in my opinion.

What would you choose? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I adore The Duchess Deal and Tessa Dare in general – her books always make me beam so much. 🙂 I enjoyed The Queen of Nothing, but didn’t adore it – I’m very on the fence about the whole series, to be honest. The first book was SO GOOD, and then it just fell flat for me. *cries* Either way, still hope you’ll enjoy it! The Raven Cycle has fantastic friendships, and I adore The Bride Test – I’m honestly not sure if I prefer it or The Kiss Quotient, but both are excellent. Great answers! ❤
