This last week was a really short posting week, but I have still been reading some amazing things!
I am in North Carolina with family on vacation so I haven’t been very active this week. Sometimes you just have to unplug! I mean… I did bring my laptop. And my ipad with ARCs… oops.
PC has been taking me to libraries on our vacations and I am so happy to add the gorgeous Biltmore library to this list! The Biltmore is all dressed up for Christmas, you’re welcome.
I’m really excited to give things away for Christmas. I released this a few days ago on Twitter, but in case you don’t do twitter i’m leaving the information here.
I feel pretty strong about the inequalities when it comes to ARCs and I adore Kal’s program Flapping Pages. It’s an international ARC sign up and only for International bloggers/readers.
So I chose a couple of my favorites and some of my ARCs and am going to send these books through Flapping Pages. Just go to the site link and fill out the form to apply. It’s an amazing program!
What I’m Reading
I just started The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang and i’m a little nervous. It’s going to be a minute with this book. I think I want to spend more time with it and process it slowly.
This is a buddy read with Kayla @ Books and Blends and I am really enjoying it so far. I am about halfway through as it’s a pretty quick read, but the language and writing is beautiful.
What I Finished
Nothing was finished… oops.
I received a copy of Sisters of Shadow and Light from Tor Books and I’m really excited! With so many new releases in November, I never got to this one, but you can bet that I am going to read it now. Thank you to Tor for this awesome surprise!
I’m headed to bookstores this afternoon so who knows what I will come back with!
This Week’s Favorite Things
My Levi denim jacket. I am not a denim jacket person, but I needed something other than leather to wear on occasion so I picked up this jacket and it has saved my life this week. It’s amazing and has changed my mind about jackets.
Last Week on the Blog
I did a Spoiler free review of A Thousand Fires | Book Review. They were both fantastic in very different ways.
This week I posted a list of Things That Make Bookworms Roll Their Eyes and I am LOVING your answers.
