Hey I’m super behind on book tags! Sibby tagged me in this one back in September and it looked like a ton of fun so here we go!
Read Only Trilogies or Standalones?
I think I have to go with trilogies on this one. I love a standalone, but I think that I enjoy the time getting to know the characters and the slower burn romances in trilogies.
Read Only Female or Male Authors?
I enjoy both, but if I had to choose I would choose women. While I try to mix things up, the majority of my favorite authors are women.
Shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon?
For books Barnes & Noble. I stopped ordering physical books from Amazon because so many of them came damaged.
All Books Becomes Movies or TV Shows?
Eek. I don’t know. Probably movies. I think the movie producers change plot lines less drastically.
Read Five Pages Per Day or Five Books Per Week?
Five per week. I used to do that and have had to slow down, but 5 pages a day would be torture.
Be a Professional Reviewer or Author?
I think author. As much as I love sharing my opinions, I would like to share my stories more.
Only Read Your Top Twenty Favourite Books Over and Over or Always Read New Ones That You Haven’t Read Before?
Probably my top twenty. That seems strange because I love new stories, but those twenty are a solid twenty.
Be a Librarian or Bookseller?
Bookseller for me. Teagan is a librarian and her stories scare me to death.
Only Read Your Favourite Genre or Every Genre except Your Favourite?
Only my favorite. I love branching out, but there is a lot of fantasy I have yet to read!
Only Read Physical Books or E-Books?
Physical. I love a good ebook, but nothing beats the original!
Loved reading your answers! I would also go for trilogies over standalones!
I would go for professional reviewer though, just because I don’t think I have stories to share, and it would mean I get to read a lot haha!

Oooh, I’d say we’re about 50/50 on the same page here 😉 I’d much rather stand-alones, being forced into a lifetime of trilogies would ruin me. And as a recovering re-reader, I’d have to say I’d rather read all new books – I still have the memory of my favourites, and it’d be a bummer to never re-visit them, but I’d be more bummed to give up the chance to discover a new one! That said, I’m totally with you on female authors and physical books – and DEADLY curious to hear more about these librarian stories! 😅❤️

Ok the best story was a mom brought her children into a library for “arts and crafts.”
When they left, the librarians went to the area to clean up and found that they had glued paper over all of the bad words in books as a part of their “education.”
They were banned from that point on.

I found myself nodding quite a bit while reading your answers… well, except for the standalones and adaptation ones! I agree with your reasoning for both, but prefer standalone books and tv series adaptations (mostly because I prefer tv shows to movies these days)

I like a tv show adaptation, but they always go so far off-track. I struggle to appreciate the show if it doesn’t follow the OG.
