September Book Haul

Wrap-Ups (1)

September was a month of cutting back. I cancelled my Audible, Kindle Unlimited and Amazon Music accounts. I just don’t listen to enough audiobooks to justify having Audible. I’m 3 months behind on them! I got Apple Music for free with my new phone, so why pay for two services?

Audible Selection

Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Radden Keif. This is my final Audible pick since I cancelled my subscription. I am excited for more  true crime in Ireland!

YA Book of the Month Club

The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh. Vampires in New Orleans? Why yes, I have been missing The Originals, how did you know? I’m so ready for this book and for the vampire comeback!

Purchases

So I did a thing and actually bought books this month. First, my Darkdawn pre-order came in and then I had to buy Beard with Me because I need to know what is up with Billy & Claire. Hopefully that conclusion will be amazing.

Next, I may have gone on Book Outlet. I’m filling out my hard copy collections since I had most of these on ebook anyway.

ARCs

I didn’t request a single e-arc this month. I’m so proud of myself. Honestly, I’m overwhelmed by the ones I do have and want to do them justice before requesting more.

Page Street Kids sent me a copy of Refraction that I haven’t gotten to yet, but it looks interesting and Penguin Teen sent me Fireborne for their blog tour next week. I’m really excited for the dragons!

What did you pick up this month? Let me know what you thought in the comments!
