So apparently the year is halfway over? I have no idea how that happened, but I love this tag so here we go!

I can’t tell you how brilliant this book it. Yeah, it’s brutal, but brilliant.

Favorite book to film adaptation – EEk, I don’t actually think I have seen one

Favorite post you have done this year – Probably my Unpopular Opinions Book Tag

Most beautiful book you have bought this year – My collector’s edition of A Gathering of Shadows. It has gorgeous artwork inside.

  1. Whaaaaaaat! I didn’t even realise the year was officially half over until I saw this post. Like, I knew it was the beginning of July but… sheesh!

  2. I love it when you know what is going to happen but the retelling is done so well that it crushes you into a million pieces anyways. I still need to read Song of Achilles (and Circe, oops), but knowing tears are likely in my future kind of makes me want to prioritize it on my TBR.

Also I am forever laughing at “will not talk about this monstrosity.”
