Top Ten Tuesday (1)

This has been such an amazing year for books! I can’t wait for 2019 releases, but let’s take a look back at my favorite reads from 2018. These are books I read in 2018, not necessarily published in 2018.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

1. The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

2. Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

Strange the Dreamer duology by Laini Taylor

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

Vicious by V.E. Schwab

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

The Dark Artifices trilogy by Cassandra Clare

Furyborn by Clare LeGrand

Dance of Thieves by Mary Pearson

I will also give To Kill a Kingdom, The Scribe, Sky in the Deep and Mirage honorable mention since I can’t choose only 10.

What do you think of my choices? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Great list! I need to cross The City of Brass off my TBR and I’ve heard such good things about The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – I’ll have to check it out at some point. 🙂
