Top Ten Tuesday | Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get

So I know that this week is winter reads, but I did a December Reading Pile post recently and that would basically be the same thing. Instead, here are some books I just CAN’T WAIT for.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

  1. Kingdom of Copper – I’m dying for this book. City of Brass was one of my favorite reads last year and I NEED this book.
  2. The Wicked Powers – Yes, I know she hasn’t written this series yet, but I just finished QOAAD and you cannot leave me like this for 3 years Cassandra!
  3. The Vanishing StairTruly Devious left things hanging and I desperately need the sequel.
  4. DarkdawnNevernight changed my world. I’m scared to read Godsgrave until Darkdawn comes out now.
  5. Crescent City – I’m trash for anything SJM so when I hear New Adult series, i’m just drooling.
  6. Lady Smoke Ash Princess surprised me. I liked it so much more than I thought I would. I’m excited for this second book to be even better.
  7. Finale – This series has been such an adorable and fun fairtyale like adventure for me. I am caught up in the magic and need to know what Legend is up to in this last one!
  8. RageRoar was one of my favorite books of this year. It has a unique magic set and the romance had me swooning. Rage has been a long time coming and I’m just really excited!
  9. The Near Witch – V.E. Schwab is a newly discovered author for me and I just want to swallow down everything she has ever written.
  10. Daisy Jones and the Six – All I need to know is Taylor Jenkins Reid
