Beauty and the Beast Book Tag

Happy Tuesday, Book friends.

We’ve seen this tag floating around and couldn’t resist doing it because Beauty and the Beast is our favorite fairy tale! I mean… that library tho!

TALE AS OLD AS TIME: A POPULAR THEME, TROPE OR SETTING YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED OF READING.

Enemies-to-lovers. Who doesn’t love this trope? The tension! It’ll never get old.

BELLE: A BOOK YOU BOUGHT FOR ITS BEAUTIFUL COVER THAT’S JUST AS BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE TOO.

Strange the Dreamer. Every single thing about this book is beautiful; the cover, the words, the characters. #obsessed

GASTON: A BOOK EVERYONE LOVES THAT YOU DON’T.

The Song Rising left a lot to be desired and neither of us could finish.

LEFOU: A LOYAL SIDEKICK YOU CAN’T HELP BUT LOVE MORE THAN THEIR COUNTERPART.

A Court of Mist and Fury. ACOTAR was good, it was fine (minus Tambitch being worthless) but holy wow did ACOMAF knock that series out of the water.

MRS. POTTS, CHIP, LUMIERE, AND COGSWORTH: A BOOK THAT HELPED YOU THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME OR TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING VALUABLE.

A Solitary Blue is one of the first books I read in middle school and it helped me to see that no family is perfect and sometimes children are better off without a particular parent.

SOMETHING THERE: A BOOK OR SERIES YOU WEREN’T INTO AT FIRST BUT PICKED UP TOWARDS THE END.

We weren’t in love with Cinder, but Scarlett has turned The Lunar Chronicles around for us and we are excited to finish up.

BE OUR GUEST: A FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU’D LOVE TO HAVE OVER FOR DINNER.

Magnus Bane. It wouldn’t be a boring dinner party by any means and hopefully there’s a lot of glitter involved.
