Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Black Wings Beating is a double whammy, pretty cover and interesting description! Hope you enjoy The Poppy War! I’ve heard is good but brutal so hopefully we all survive!

I loved Legendary! So much better than Caraval in my opinion. 🙂 Caraval was missing “that something” Legendary did have, haha.
Definitely looking forward to Kingdom of Ash as well! Hope it won’t break us apart but.. it probably will..
Happy reading!

I’m so glad to hear that Legendary has a little something more than Caraval. Caraval was pretty meh for me so this is good news!!
I have little hope that we are going to make it out of Kingdom of Ash alive. I’ve already warned work that I might be dead staring October 23. *writes will*

Yay! Hope you enjoy it more than Caraval for sure, then!
Hahaha. Maybe I should warn them I simply won’t be at work the moment that book arrives because there’ll be no stopping me from picking it up and diving in. 😛

I get so excited when I see people mention The Boneless Mercies, it made me fangirl and that is a rare thing.
I have Scythe on my list as well, I’m halfway through and am struggling to pick it up and finish it.
Also Nevernight is the bees knees, so much blood and beautiful writing.
Happy reading.

I’ve already informed work that I just won’t be in that day…possibly that week. And i’ve let people know if I die to put “SJM” as cause of death.

1. Woah woah woah, are you ready for The Poppy War?!? LOL
2. I’m jealous of you guys getting into Nevernight, I still need to finish that one!
3. I can’t wait to see what you guys think about Legendary since I wasn’t totally impressed!
4. I seriously hope you love Scythe, since Thunderhead was so freaking good.
5. Muse of Nightmares, I’ll just get ready to bow down to the great Laini Taylor.

Omg no we are not ready for Poppy War. It’s absolutely going to break us!!!!! We are such masochists.
Did you start Nevernight? Or just need to finish the series?!
I (Teagan) wasn’t impressed with Caraval so I have low expectations for Legendary, especially hearing that you didn’t love it. I’m hoping tella is at least a little better than Scarlett.
Laini Taylor is our queen, I’m okay with the fact that I’m probably going to have to erect a pink statue in her honor in my yard.

RIP Teagan and Jess, you asked for this. (but I did too, and came out with most of my limbs, just a few bruises – maybe a missing tooth…)
I started it but never finished! I wasn’t in the mental state to handle it at the time, but I’m warming up to the idea of tackling it again!
Yeah, it was ok. Kinda perturbed I paid full hardcover price for it! I shoulda waited for a Library copy at most…
Yes, pink statues are a must in every household.

Tackle it soon so we can fangirl together! And possibly have a joint funeral at the hands of Jay Kristoff.

Agreed, and then we can spam tweet him asking him for eulogies.
