July Wrap-Up and August TBR

JULY WRAP UP

July was a crazy month for us and we have no idea how we got so much reading done! Teagan drove all over Idaho and Utah, including some amazing hikes, and Jess went to LA and camped on the beach down in the gulf. The views for reading inspired us and while we can’t wait for August, July treated us pretty well.

Upcoming in August

August is looking like an excellent reading month for us! We’re picking up some of the books we’ve been most anticipating for 2018 (Spinning Silver & Dance of Thieves!!) and starting some classic series we haven’t delved into yet. And hopefully we’ll be able to scope out some amazing spots to read and soak up some of the last bits of summer sun!

Monthly Goals

  • Books: 18

Here are some of the books we are excited about in August:

  • Spinning Silver – Naomi Novik
  • Dance of Thieves – Mary E. Pearson
  • Novice – Taran Matharu
  • Kate Daniels – Illona Andrews
  • Queens of Innis Lear (For real this time) – Tessa Gratton
  • City of Brass – S. A. Charkaborty
  • Raven Boys – Maggie Stiefvater
  • These Rebel Waves – Sara Raasch

Have you read any of these books? What books are excited to read in August?  We’d love to hear your thoughts below!
